A great way to discover the area is to take a bike and just cycle around, whether it is a traditional or electric bike. Or, if you are more adventurous, take a mountain bike in one of the many beautiful forests in the area. There are countless trails, many of which are documented online. A good website to start at is Dordogne MBT.

If you cannot bring your own bike, there are a number of shops in the area that rent out different types of (electric) bikes.
