Château

Dating to the seventeenth century, but repeatedly renovated and expanded at later dates, Château La Carrière is built in traditional Dordogne style. This can be seen in the shape of the structure (i.e. the towers), the materials used (e.g. limestone), as well as specific details such as windows and shutters. Of special note is the roof, which is made with lauzes, locally sourced pieces of limestone specially cut to protect the structure underneath. In recent years, the Château has been modernised to offer you all the comfort you expect from luxury accommodation.
