Bedrooms
Château La Carrière has eight bedrooms, all of which are described and illustrated below. Five of them are located in the North Wing and three in the South Wing. They are all listed below in order from north to south.
If your group comprises 17 or 18 people, we offer the option of renting the Pigeonnier, a small octagonal building located opposite the North Wing. Please contact us directly if you are interested in renting the Pigeonnier.

Chambre des Magnolias
The stunning Chambre des Magnolias is located in the northern tower of the North Wing. The spacious suite of 32m²/345sfq has panoramic views on all four sides, a super king-size bed and a separate seating area. Below Chambre des Magnolias is a luxurious bathroom with a double vanity unit, a separate shower cubicle and bath as well as a built-in dressing room of the same size as the bedroom above. Both the bedroom as well as the bathroom have air-conditioning and are accessed by turret stairs.
Chambre des Platanes
Chambre des Platanes oozes character with its original exposed beams and its quaint Périgourdian roof windows. The latter allow for amazing views of the garden on one side and the adjacent valley on the other. The room, which measures 30m²/325sqf, has a Super King-size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, television as well as air conditioning. Platanes shares a large marble bathroom with separate shower cubicle and bath with the adjacent Chambres des Lauriers.
Chambre des Lauriers
Chambre des Lauriers is an elegant room with a vaulted roof and decorative wall mouldings of 34m²/365sqf. The room, which has two double beds, a large wardrobe and a chest of drawers, is located in-between Chambre des Platanes and Chambre des Rosiers and does not have its own separate entrance. As Chambre des Lauriers shares a large marble ensuite bathroom with Platanes, it is ideal as a children's room with the parents sleeping in the latter.
Chambre des Rosiers
Chambre des Rosiers, which is located in the southern tower of the North Wing, is tastefully decorated with original oil paintings and stylish furniture. Measuring 16m²/175sqf, the room has a King-size bed and a walk-in closet. Windows open up on two sides of the bedroom and provide awe-inspiring views of the garden. Rosiers has a marble ensuite bathroom with a bath/shower combination.
Chambre des Cerisiers
Chambre des Cerisiers, which is located above Chambre des Rosiers, is equally tastefully decorated with original art and graceful furniture. The room measures 16m²/175sqf and has a King-size bed. Cerisiers has a walk-in closet and a marble ensuite bathroom with a bath/shower combination. The views of the garden from the windows on two sides of the room are breathtaking.
Chambre des Lavandes
Chambre des Lavandes, which is located in the South Wing, is a luxurious and sizable bedroom (24m²/260sqf) with a King-size bed. Equipped with air-conditioning, the room is tastefully decorated with original drawings in mixed media, a large couch and stylish furniture. Lavandes has two spacious wardrobes, one walk-in and one built-in. The bright marble ensuite bathroom has a bath/shower combination and heated radiator. A door in the bedroom provides access to a small balcony with elegant outdoor furniture and stone stairs leading down to the garden.
Chambre des Jonquilles
Located in the South Wing, Chambre des Jonquilles is an imposing bedroom, which measures 24m²/260sqf. It has a King-size bed, air-conditioning and two spacious wardrobes, one walk-in and one built-in. Jonquilles's striking character is provided by its original art on the wall, its sumptuous couch and tasteful furniture. The marble ensuite bathroom has a bath/shower combination as well as a heated radiator. Double doors open up to a small outdoor terrace (with furniture), which grants immediate access to the garden.
Chambre des Glycines
Chambre des Glycines, which is situated in the South Wing, is adorned with a wonderful ceiling and exposed wooden beams in typical Périgord style. It is a spacious bedroom of 38m²/410sqf with two single beds, which can be combined into a Super-Kingsize bed, if required. Equipped with air-conditioning, the room is decorated with cheerful art and furnished with a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. As Glycines does not have its own bathroom, tt is ideal as room for children with the parents sleeping in Chambre des Lavandes.
Glycines also houses a library with a wide variety of books, including novels, travel, cook and art books.
